Juz came back from kopitiam after "la kopi" wif my former NCC platoon mates... today was the old boys gathering in school and also to sent off the outgoing batch of specialists... dinner was buffet... the food was ok... not tat bad... but too little for a lot of pple sia... but, hadn't had much appetite today anyway... after dinner, a presentation was shown as a tribute to the pioneer batch of cadets... Montfort NCC has only been ard for 8 years... but it seems like a long time already... the slideshow shows all the pictures n events that had taken place under the guidance of the pioneer batch... can c tat sum of my seniors r really touched by the presentation... but tat, was another presentation... tis time as a tribute to the outgoing batch of specialists... tiong gave a very touching speech after tat... i will always respect tiong for all the work he has done for montfort ncc... the passion he has for ncc will always stay in my heart... he wasn't a montfortian... yet, he stayed on for 8 years to build up the GOLD unit that is Montfort NCC today... he even know how to sing montfort sch song now!!! ten there was the presentation of plaques to the outgoing specialists and to the CLTs... ten was the presentation of the token of appreciation to both Sir Tiong n Sir Ho...
after the entire thing, me and a few of my former platoon mates went to a kopitiam to "la kopi"... haha... went there to catch up on old times and also to find out how each of us are doing rite now... stayed there until 12.30am... be4 we decided to part company...
the gathering today really has been a emotional 1 for me... there were times during tiong's n mr. ho speech tat i really feel like crying... many of the rest feels the same ways too... we really had been thru a lot together... really hope tat tis gathering can go on every year...
